GREYHOUND WELFARE DOG SHOWS 2008
We EXPECT to be organising five Dog Shows
One in the Spring in Rogerstone, last Sunday in April, one in July as part of A.C.G.&S’s Open Day in Cwmbran, one as part of Rogerstone Village Festival on August BH Monday and our own Annual Show in Llandaff North, Cardiff on 2nd Sunday in September as well as 1st Saturday in November in Risca. All Breeds Welcome at all Shows.
Plus usual appearances at Shows and Collections.

  "FANCY THAT DOG" SHOW CLASSES

Favoured by Greyhound Welfare during the Festival Dog Show at Rogerstone on August BH Monday
 
1. ANY BREED PUPPY
  We will be looking for personality as well as looks.
2. ANY BREED WAGGIEST TAIL
  We will be looking for activity/attitude/
  awareness and character
3. ANY BREED MOST BEAUTIFUL EYES
  We will be looking for expression, attention and
  appealling expression

4. MOST MIXED-UP BREED
5. BEST CHILD HANDLER (10 and under )
6. BEST JUNIOR HANDLER (11 – 16)

  SHORT BREAK FOR RAFFLE

7.BEST FANCY DRESS.
  Recommend that the owners wear anything bulky
  and the dogs have complete freedom of movement
8. BEST PARTY TRICK.
  Small props only please
9.CANINE EGG AND SPOON RACE. 2 CLASSES
  Owner holds egg/spoon and lead in the same hand.
  Under 14 and over 14.
10.OWNER LOOKING MOST LIKE
  HIS/HER/THEIR DOG
  We won’t mind if the resemblance is real or if the
  people have dressed specially to match their dogs.
  In fact we would prefer it.

Classes cost £1 per entry. Rosettes for 1st to 4th place plus prizes

Various stalls including bric-a-brac,
Xmas items, home made dog treats, tombola, raffle, refreshments and other local Rescues.
Plus the chance for your dog to have his photo taken with
Father Xmas!
