  Result. We met new friends and were so pleased to see the older greyhounds looking

  really well. Atom 8yrs, Minstrel 10yrs and younger boy Foley with new companion both

  looking good. Cleo 9yrs met another feisty silver face Nellie,12 yrs.

  Result. Many thanks to the management and the kind shoppers.

  Our volunteers raised £180.84 for the greyhounds and received several adoption enquiries.

May

1 May Fayre, Magor. 1pm - 5pm. Entertainment all afternoon in Magor Square

  Jazz Band, singers, dancers etc. and an on site Fun Fair. Popular day out.

  Four volunteers and three greyhounds raised £38.90 for retired greyhounds.

  Lots of other charities on site as well as local groups. Well done to everyone for their

  hard work over three days.

  Warm sunny day. Greyound Stall took over £40.00 and received a firm home offer .

  Sunny day at Garn Lakes in Blaenavon and very well attended. The Greyhound Stall took

  £54.20 and received several adoption enquiries.

  Lovely mild, sunny day at Cartref. Greyhound Stall took £41.55 and we

  were delighted to see resident greyhound Annie looking so well.

  Volunteers and their greyhounds found shady spots at Greenmeadow Community Farm

  Open Days produced £15.62 and £14.91. repectively

  Believed that a Car Rally at the nearby Leisure Centre drew the crowds

3 Annual BBQ and Meeting for Greyhound Welfare members at Cosmeston Lake

  Fine and dry but blowing a gale. The lake was so choppy that there seemed to be more

  swans than people on dry land. Nevertheless a nice atmosphere and £79.40 contributed

  for the greyhounds and costs involved. Indoor location planned for next year

  The weather held and lots of people Greyhound Stall received a total of £86.53. Not yet known how much was raised for Leukaemia Research.
