The most important event in a hound's life is that special "forever" home. What a difference!

You can't choose your relatives

but you can choose your dog

BEFORE. Dec 2005

Have fence? will travel.

 7 feet high? No problem

Sincere thanks to whoever drew

this. It's our

and Comfort in times of Stress

AFTER. Jan 2006

Jumping Jet has a new home

and other things on his mind.

By the Spring of 2007

the boy was winning prizes at the Rogerstone Dog Show.

Sad note September 2007

Little Jess the Dacsie

passed away. Greatly missed

Just when he got settled

it was time for the Newport Walk.

From the left,

Jess, Jet, Chalmer and Cleo.

Though not everybody walked.

Please see the little face in the trolley ?

Now-a-days Jet is even impervious

to next door's cat.

When Malpas Vet, Byron Jones, found a Mast Cell Tumour on Bob's ribs (attached to a lymph gland) he sucessfully removed it and we were amazed at Bob's recovery .... and the tiny stitches that ensured fast healing and a barely noticable scar. (Jones the Vet, 161, Larch Grove, Malpas, Newport Tel. 01633 858599)

However it put a shadow over the chances of finding a permanent home. Five months later and there has been no return of the cancer and one of our experienced owners has kindly given him a home.

Any doubts about whether he would fit in have disappeared.

The photo shows that he's fitting very nicely

AFTER

Alpha dog Rose is staying cool. Tex seems worried that while the bed might be just about big enough the toy box DEFINATELY ISN'T

He's also concerned that none of the toys "SQUEAK "any more.

This is something that Bob knows a lot about but he's not saying anything.

BEFORE

Bob raced as Supreme Goran and has over 5,000 brothers and sisters. He didn't know anything about them. Just wanted a home.
